This bespoke service is available for both men’s and women’s Barong Tagalog.
Each Barong Tagalog is created as a bespoke project, developed individually for the client and the occasion. Design complexity may range from minimalist concepts to fully custom designs, based on the selected direction.
The process begins with an initial inquiry and preliminary estimate. Once the order is confirmed through the required deposit, a private video consultation is scheduled to refine the design direction and confirm the project details.
Key Project Details
• For a calm and well-paced process, we recommend starting three months in advance. Bespoke Barong Tagalog orders are accepted no later than seven weeks before the event date.
• Each project follows a structured process, including email discussion, private consultation, design development, and production.

Each Custom Barong Tagalog is made to the client’s individual measurements, with consideration for the occasion, preferred level of formality, and overall design direction. The service is suitable for weddings, formal ceremonies, receptions, and other important events.
Fabrics
Available materials include handwoven pure piña, piña-silk, piña cocoon silk, piña cocoon, and other carefully selected fabrics.
Natural piña-based fabrics are particularly suitable for wedding and ceremonial Barongs. Fabric selection also considers the requirements of embroidery, calado, and other detailed work.
Cut & Fit
Available directions include the Full Custom Barong, Classic Barong, Coat Barong, and Modern Barong. These categories serve as starting points and do not limit the final design.
The silhouette, construction, fit, and details are developed for the individual wearer during a private online consultation with designer Josip Tumapa. Each piece is made to the client’s measurements rather than based on standard ready-to-wear sizing.
Embroidery & Ornament
The design may include hand or machine embroidery, as well as hand-executed calado. Ornamentation may incorporate botanical or geometric motifs, bespoke compositions, and personal details.
