Ivory Light Filipiniana

Ivory Light Filipiniana focuses on vertical lines, layered surfaces, and a lighter approach to the terno silhouette. The dress keeps the familiar butterfly sleeves, while the lower section is built from falling layered pieces.

The surface is made from repeated geometric elements. As the model moves, the layers catch light in different places, giving the dress more depth without making it look heavy.

The bodice is transparent and closely fitted, creating contrast with the fuller lower section. The sleeves keep the Filipiniana reference clear, while the falling layers carry most of the movement.

Ivory Light Filipiniana is part of the Constructed Light collection. The collection is discussed in more detail in Modern Barong and Filipiniana by Josip Tumapa Design.
