Crystal Dew is a floor-length evening gown from Also a Dreamer — An Eveningwear Collection.
The starting point was simple. I was thinking about how moisture sits on skin early in the morning — uneven, cool, never decorative. That feeling shaped the surface of the dress.
The gown is built on a fine nude tulle mesh that stays visibly sheer under light. The fabric follows the body softly, without compression or rigid structure. Transparency is not an effect here — it is the base.
Across the surface, dozens of crystal drops are attached individually. They vary in size and weight. Heavier elements settle closer to the hips and upper skirt, while lighter pieces appear across the bodice and neckline. The crystals are fixed on transparent thread with slight freedom of movement, so they react to walking rather than staying perfectly still.
I kept the back intentionally clean. Too much detail there would weaken the overall read. This way, the crystal placement and skin contrast stay clear.
The neckline rises high, formed from layered sheer mesh. Its crystal details extend into long earrings created specifically for this look. They are part of the dress, not accessories added later.
The skirt falls straight to the floor and releases softly at the hem. Despite the density of embellishment, the gown remains light on the body.
